Description

Samaritans is a registered charity aimed at providing free confidential support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the UK and Ireland. Every year, they answer more than 5 million calls for help via their unique listening service.

Samaritans provide specialised services, training, and awareness programmes in health and care settings, education settings, workplaces, prisons, and the military. They also offer advice to people worried about someone else.

Samaritans offer a safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way - about whatever’s getting to you. They won't judge you or tell you what to do. Get in touch any time, day or night:

Samaritans have also launched a free self-help app that helps you to track your mood and find practical tips and techniques to look after your emotional health.

Samaritans is a registered charity (no. 219432).
