Northampton Schools Tutorial Centre (NSTC)
How to contact this service
Description
Established in 2014, the Northampton Schools Tutorial Centre (NSTC) works collaboratively with partner schools to enable pupils to succeed in mainstream school and avoid the need to be referred to longer term, alternative education provision. It's for for pupils in Key Stage 3 (KS3), which is Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9.
Pupils attend three days a week for up to 15 weeks (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9am to 3pm). It is expected that pupils will attend their referring school on Mondays and Fridays. There must be an exit plan in place when they start NSTC.
