Description

Noise Academy is a creative arts alternative provision. It helps young people express themselves and build confidence. It's a supportive place where pupils can explore music technology in ways that connect with modern youth culture. The highly engaging courses include music production, DJing, sound engineering, and songwriting. They are designed to feel exciting and relevant, bridging the gap between education and what is deemed 'cool.'

The goal of Noise Academy is to help young people grow both personally and academically. It focusses on those who have faced difficulties in school or life. The team knows how powerful music can be for self-expression and positive change. They’ve seen how it can truly turn lives around.

Noise Academy combines creative education with emotional and academic support. It provides a unique space where students can feel safe, valued, and inspired to thrive.

Noise Academy offers:

Short-Term Intervention: Support for pupils who need a short break from regular school to re-engage with learning in a new environment.

Reduced Timetable Support: For pupils on part-time schedules or gradually returning to full-time education.

Exam Preparation Support: Help for pupils getting ready for Functional Skills or other qualifications. Sessions are calm and personalised.

Creative and Therapeutic Engagement: Music-based sessions (such as DJing and music production) give pupils ways to manage emotions and build self-esteem.

Reintegration Programmes: Support for pupils getting ready to return to mainstream schools.

SEND & SEMH-Specific Provision: Noise Academy works with pupils who are neurodivergent or have emotional and mental health needs. Every session is adapted to fit each student’s learning style and emotional needs.

Academic Support: one-to-one or two-to-one Functional Skills English and Maths tuition.
