Northamptonshire Police - Keep Safe Scheme

Northamptonshire Police - Keep Safe Scheme logo

Description

The Keep Safe card is for anyone in Northamptonshire with a learning disability, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or any other disability that could make them vulnerable when out and about.

Users who sign up to the scheme are given a 'Keep Safe' card, which they can carry with them whenever they are out and about. The card is designed to make people more aware of their personal safety, to encourage the reporting of crime (especially hate crime), and to encourage people to seek help if they need it.

The Keep Safe Card will also help those providing assistance (such as shopkeepers, librarians and the police) to access support for the card-holder, and how to make them feel more safe. For more information about the scheme and how to apply for a Keep Safe card, please visit: Keep Safe Scheme.
