Description
Q Space was formed in 2016 to support the growing needs of LGBTQ+ people and allies in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
LGBTQ+ is an inclusive term used to represent a broad spectrum of sexual orientations and gender identities. It usually refers to people who:
- are lesbians (L)
- are gay (G)
- are bisexual (B)
- are transgender (T)
- are queer or questioning (Q)
- identify as intersex, asexual, pansexual, etc (+)
Q Space is a small team of volunteers with a strong vision of curating and maintaining spaces for LGBTQ+ people and their allies. It aims to support and empower people who access its services and spaces by:
- running and facilitating support groups
- providing one-to-one support
- delivering training and awareness sessions
- holding pop-up events
Q Space Northants is an unincorporated not‑for‑profit community group.
