Description

Community Paediatricians are doctors who specialise in the health and development of children and young people. They work with children and families who may have a range of health, developmental, or additional support needs.

For ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments in school-age children, Community Paediatricians work closely with the NHFT ADHD and ASD Service (link).

The team works with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals to understand a child's needs and plan the right support.

Appointments are usually provided in a clinic or by phone.
