Shepherd Heights Ltd - The Stables (Adult Day Provision)

The Stables Day Centre provides daytime activities and support for adults aged 18+ with:

• learning disabilities
• autism
• physical disabilities
• sensory needs
• mental health needs
• behaviours that may challenge

Based near Kingsthorpe, the centre offers a calm, friendly setting where people can develop independence, confidence, life skills, and friendships.

Activities and Facilities

The Stables has two accessible activity hubs, The Barn and The Croft, each with space for up to 12 people.

Activities include:

• Arts and crafts
• music, singing and dancing
• Cooking and baking in accessible kitchens
• Gardening and caring for resident goats
• Life skills and social activities
• Community outings to local shops, cafés, the library and other places

Facilities include accessible toilets, wet rooms, hoists, outdoor spaces and a music cabin.

Individual Support

The Stables offers person-centred support, with activities adapted to each person’s needs, abilities and interests. People are encouraged to make their own choices and take part at their own pace.

Shepherd Heights Ltd also runs Meadow View, a separate residential care home on the same site.
