Description
Workbridge is a vocational education service for people with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, or brain injury. It supports to people gain life, vocational, and employment skills through a mixture of skills-led sessions and work experience. Workbridge's learning sessions are delivered within one of five vocational hubs:
- Creative Arts and Innovation
- Horticulture and the Natural Environment
- Design Technology and Engineering
- Food and Health
- Business and Administration
Each hub offers a range of sessions to help introduce and improve key independence and employment skills. Each hub also offers a range of work experience opportunities with St Andrew's Healthcare, Workbridge, and in the community. Workbridge's learners gain meaningful employment and life skills, which help many of them transition into volunteering or paid employment.
