Description
Live Love Be offers groups of young people and adults the opportunity for personal growth, therapeutic experiences, and healing through horses and nature.
Based in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Mill Farm has ten naturally-kept horses and ponies, dogs, cats, and chickens.
The horses are at the heart of Live Love Be. Interacting with the herd allows people to learn about themselves and each other.
Live Love Be's 'Equine Learning Days' involve grooming, being with (and learning about) the horses, experiential activities, arts and crafts, and lunch around the campfire in the 'Magic Forest.'
Live Love Be primarily work with young people with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and social-emotional needs. It also works with young people with a history of abuse and trauma, unaccompanied asylum seekers, and refugees.
At present, Live Love Be are only working with small groups of up to six young people (aged 12+). They are accompanied by 2-3 support workers, responsible adults, and/or parents (depending on the nature of the group).
