Description

Girlguiding is the operating name of The Guide Association. Guides take on adventurous activities, such as climbing, canoeing, sailing, and orienteering. They also have the opportunity to get involved in camps and international events, including girl-only festivals and overseas development projects. Girls are organised into the following sections by age:

  • Rainbows - For girls aged 4-7 years
  • Brownies - For girls aged 7-10 years
  • Guides - For girls aged 10-14 years
  • Rangers - For girls aged 14-18 years

Please note: spiritual development is a key part of Girlguiding's programme, however no single faith is predominantly referred to or used. Girls with no religious faith are equally included and respected.

Girlguiding Northamptonshire is a registered charity (no. 304418).
