How to contact this service

Young Epilepsy is a UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions.

They provide information about diagnosis  for children and young people with epilepsy. They also undertake research into the condition and how it can be treated.

Young Epilepsy's specialist services include a school, a college, and residential services providing education and healthcare for children and young people with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

They also provide a range of support and information for parents, children, and young people, and for professionals. The charity campaigns for better access to (and better quality of) health and education services. It also raises awareness and increases understanding of epilepsy.

For those in distress, or requiring urgent support, Young Epilepsy has partnered with Shout to offer free, confidential 24/7 text support to young people and families living with epilepsy. To start a conversation, text 'PURPLE' to 85258.

Young Epilepsy is the operating name of The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE). Registered charity no. 311877.
