How to contact this service
Description
The Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT) has been delivering music education and performing arts opportunities for children and young people in Northamptonshire for over 50 years. It started life as a Local Authority music service (known as the Northampton Music School) and is now an independent charity.
NMPAT is the the lead partner in the Northamptonshire Music Education Hub (NMEH). The NMEH is a partnership of organisations committed to delivering the aims of the government's National Plan for Music Education for the children and young people of Northamptonshire.
The majority of NMPAT's activities can be suitably tailored for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). However, it is recognised that there is a wide variety of different needs within this group, in all cases it is strongly recommended that parents/carers and service providers contact NMPAT by telephone or email so they can discuss requirements in detail. NMPAT can usually signpost you to a suitable music or performing arts activity in your local area.
