AP Education is dedicated to securing excellent outcomes for children and young people. Many of its learners have complex or additional needs. They may have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or have struggled within mainstream education settings.

Specialised Tuition Services for Diverse Needs

AP Education offers experienced, fully compliant tutors and support staff who are specialists in working with learners withadditional needs. They support any child or young person currently out of education or experiencing a placementbreakdown. They aim to provide a positive, nurturing, and highly personalised educational experience.

At the heart of the provision is a commitment to bridging the educational gap. They achieve this by delivering engaging,fun, and meaningful learning opportunities that prioritise:

  • Reintroduction to learning
  • Improved attendance
  • Active engagement
  • A sense of achievement and success

AP Education's approach uses informed, therapeutic interventions to remove barriers to learning and create positive opportunities for every learner.

Types of needs supported

AP Education supports learners across all age groups from Early Years through to Post-16 Education. This includessupporting those with a variety of needs including:

  • Special Educational Needs (with/without an EHCP)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Complex or additional needs
  • Learners at risk of exclusion
  • School refusers or those with poor attendance
  • Those accessing Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS)

AP Education offers the following types of provision for learners at the family home or in community venues:

  • 1:1 tuition
  • 2:1 tuition (for those with additional complex needs)
  • Group tuition
  • Online tuition

Cost
1-to-1 tuition: £65 per-hour (minimum 2 hours). 2-to-1 tuition: £111 per-hour (minimum 2 hours). Group tuition: Prices on request. Online learning: £58 per hour (minimum 2 hours).
