Northampton Saints Foundation - Education Programmes

Northampton Saints Foundation uses the values of Northampton Rugby Football Club and the power of sport to inspire, support, and educate young people and their communities through a number of innovative and exciting programmes.

Each year, over 200 young people attend our social inclusion programme, Engage, from our hubs located in Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, and Ipswich, they learn new skills, build self-esteem, confidence, and belief.

Their progammes include:

Engage An alternate provision for children and young people aged 7-16 years who are disengaged from mainstream education and in need of additional support to regain control of their academic pathway.

Holiday Activities For children andyoung people 8-14 who are eligible for free school meals.

HITZ For young people aged 16-19 years who want to use the values of rugby to develop their personal, life, and employability skills.

Engage+ For young people aged 16-18 years who find a regular educational learning environment difficult. Engage+ is delivered in partnership with Northampton College to support those who require additional learning support or are at risk of not being in education, employment, or training (NEET).

Aspire For young people aged 16-19 who are looking to gain their Level 1 or Level 2 and develop their maths and english skills. Aspire is delivered in partnership with Northampton College to support young people with the key skills and qualifications they need to create a positive pathway.
