The Cube is Northamptonshire's largest independent day care provider for adults with learning disabilities and autism. They offer a fun and modern service from five custom-built facilities across the county:

  • Clarke Road - Abington, Clarke Road, Abington, Northampton NN1 4PW
  • Daventry - Abbey Retail Park, Daventry NN11 4GL
  • Kettering - Tanners Gate Retail Park, Kettering NN16 8AQ
  • Kingsthorpe - Harborough Road, Kingsthorpe, Northampton NN2 8LT
  • Roe Road - Abington (Head Office), 63-71 Roe Road, Abington, Northampton NN1 4PH

The Cube Disability first opened in Daventry in 2000, and has now successfully expanded into Northampton and Kettering, including a dedicated performing arts academy in Kingsthorpe.

The Cube Disability - Day Service

The day service is open to anyone with a learning disability (aged 17 years and above). It offers each client a tailored programme. They are flexible and accommodating - not only with physical requirements but also with any religious and nutritional needs. They provide access to wheelchairs, offer British Sign Language (BSL), and support clients with autism and complex needs.

The Cube works hard to ensure their clients enjoy the best possible quality of life. They provide access to sports, arts, cultural events, and educational activities (such as literacy, life skills, and work skills). Clients at The Cube's arts academy can work towards a nationally-recognised Arts Award from Trinity College London.

The Cube aims to educate and stimulate clients in a fun, interesting, and (most importantly) safe environment. Clients are encouraged to play an active role at all five venues, where they can learn to socialise and make friends.

The day service extends beyond just day care. The Cube also organises trips and holidays for their clients, and in 2020 they launched The Cube Disability Adventures.

The Cube Disability Extra

The Cube also run an evening and weekend service. The Cube Disability Extra is open to all adults with disabilities in Northamptonshire. It is designed to be a social club for people with learning disabilities, and you don't need to be a Cube client to access this service.
