Semilong Community Exchange

Semilong Community Exchange (SCE) is a grassroots, volunteer-led organisation offering free hot meals, essentials, and a welcoming social space for anyone in need across Northampton. We prioritise dignity, inclusivity, and lived experience—there are no eligibility checks or barriers to access, and everyone is welcome. Our hubs provide holistic support, advice, and signposting on a range of issues, from housing and benefits to wellbeing and community connection.

All services are funded by donations and run by local volunteers, ensuring transparency and community ownership. SCE’s mission is to reduce hardship, tackle loneliness, and empower individuals to thrive, one meal and one conversation at a time.
