SENDS 4 dad

SENDS 4 Dad is a peer-led support and social community specifically for dads and male carers who have a child or adult with special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND).SENDS 4 Dad provides an informal, non-clinical environment where men can connect with others in similar circumstances to share practical advice, swap experiences, and find mutual support. There is no requirement for a formal diagnosis, and the individual being cared for can be of any age.Weekly activity clubs and social gatherings, monthly breakfast mornings and dedicated social nights for dads and male carers, family-focused events including swimming sessions, outdoor sensory play, and family fun days where fathers can bond with their children alongside a supportive network of peers and private online support networks, including closed social media groups and messaging chats for confidential advice and community connection.
