Northampton Pride

Northampton pride Sunday 26 June at 11am

Applications for Pride are closed and the committee is now busy finalising event details.

Northampton Pride, sponsored by Travis Perkins, begins with the Parade from the Market Square around the town, returning to the Square for a host of live performances, walkabout entertainers and a wide range of local stallholders.

Following two hugely successful events, the organisers were overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm from local groups and residents and hope this year’s event will attract even more support from across West Northants.

Taking place between 11am and 4pm, on 26 June  the event is organised by Northampton’s LGBTQ and Allies Forum and aims to highlight the LGBTQ+ community, businesses and support organisations. Previous celebrations have seen organisations such as Q Space, The Lowdown, Outlaws and Kinky Boots, Northampton Leisure Trust and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust taking part by holding pop-up shops.

The Pride Parade will take place as part of this year’s event, starting and ending at the Market Square from 11am, where live performances will also be held.
