Our towns have excellent transport links. Our residents and visitors have access to a wealth of leisure facilities with great shops, restaurants, cinemas, gyms and spas alongside plenty of cultural activities including museums, galleries, theatres, concert venues and a thriving nightlife.

And of course, Northamptonshire is renowned for its sporting highlights. We sit within the Motorsport Valley, which represents motorsport on a global level, and are the home to British motor racing with international circuits at Silverstone and Rockingham!

Both Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 and Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 teams operate out of Northamptonshire, with their state-of-the-art technology highlighting the innovative nature of our county.

We are also home to the Northampton Saints rugby team, who work closely with young people through their Northampton Saints Foundation to promote wellbeing and build character.

One of the great features of Northampton is convenient transport links. With its location close to three junctions of the M1 motorway, it couldn’t be easier to reach other major towns and cities. Within a one-hour drive of London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cambridge, there are affordable homes in both lively urban and stunning rural locations, with an attractive average house price of £270,789 in Northampton.

Affordable housing is accessible across the county. There are a range of ways that this can be accessed, including social and affordable rent and shared ownership schemes.
