Innovation and collaboration showcased at Merged Futures 8

West Northamptonshire Council joined partners from across the county at Merged Futures 8, a leading technology and innovation events, held at the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus. 

It brought together organisations from the public, private, education and healthcare sectors to explore how emerging technologies are helping to improve services, support communities and drive innovation. 

Key themes included artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, immersive technology and the future of education and healthcare. The event also created opportunities for organisations to share ideas, build partnerships and learn from each other.

Councillor Andrew Last, Cabinet Member for HR, Corporate & Regulatory Services, said: 
"Merged Futures continues to highlight the innovation, talent and collaboration we have across West Northamptonshire and the wider county. It is great to see organisations from different sectors coming together to share ideas and explore how technology can help improve services and outcomes for residents. From artificial intelligence to advances in education and healthcare, the event demonstrated how innovation is already making a positive difference in our communities."

Merged Futures 8 reinforced West Northamptonshire’s growing reputation as a place for innovation and highlighted the importance of partnership working in shaping the future of local services and communities.
