Do you visit local parks in West Northamptonshire? If you do, West Northamptonshire Council is inviting you to share your views via an online survey.

The survey is running until 30 August and is asking local residents to share their views and experiences around access, usage, facilities and events at the 16 major parks.

These include:

  • Abington Park, Northampton
  • Beckets Park, Northampton
  • Borough Hill, Daventry
  • Brackmills Country Park, Northampton
  • Bradlaugh Fields, Northampton
  • Brampton Valley Way linear park (Northampton to Market Harborough)
  • Brixworth Country Park
  • Dallington Park, Northampton
  • Daventry Country Park
  • Delapre Park, Northampton
  • Eastfield Park, Northampton
  • Hunsbury Hill, Northampton
  • The Racecourse, Northampton
  • Swanhaven linear park (Billing Brook lakes), Northampton
  • Upton Country Park, Northampton
  • Watermeadows, Towcester

The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. Please make your views heard via the Parks Survey questionnaire. The survey will need to be completed multiple times, if it is being completed for more than one park.

Cllr Nigel Stansfield – Cabinet Member for Environment, Recycling and Waste, said: “West Northamptonshire has many beautiful parks, and we know how valued and well used they are. We carry out this annual survey to understand how local residents are accessing our parks, what we are doing well and what we need to improve.

“If you regularly use one of our local parks, or even if you don’t, we encourage you to share your views. By participating, you’re helping shape future initiatives that benefit everyone.”
