Summer of Sport free community roadshows are taking place across West Northamptonshire during the summer holidays.
They will visit Northampton, Daventry, Brackley and Towcester, bringing a range of fun and accessible sporting activities into local parks and community spaces.
The events will give you the opportunity to try a variety of sports in a relaxed environment. They will also provide clear pathways into local sports clubs and activity providers.
Event format
The events will run from 1pm to 5pm at all venues.
There will be no need to pre-book, with activities for all ages and abilities.
Each location will include a mixture of:
- traditional and non-traditional sports
- inclusive and adaptive activities
- family-friendly games
Professional and local clubs will be invited to run activities and promote further opportunities.
