Request a review of your housing decision

When you apply to West Northants Housing Allocation Scheme, we consider all of the information and documents you have provided to support your application to ensure a fair and comprehensive application.

We use this information to decide:

  • whether you are eligible and qualifying to join the scheme
  • whether you have a housing need which meets the priority banding criteria. 

If you do not agree with a decision we have made regarding your Housing Register application, you can request a review. 

You must request a review within 21 calendar days of receiving your decision.

You can request a review of the following decisions:

  • that you are not eligible for an allocation
  • that you do not qualify to join the scheme
  • your priority banding criteria award
  • the type of accommodation you will be considered for
  • who is in your household
  • whether an allocation or nomination is your final offer

The review will re-consider all the relevant facts of your application. If you have any further supporting evidence you wish to be considered as part of your application, please attach it to this form.

The Allocations Team aim to process all reviews within 56 days and you will be informed of the outcome in writing.
