Allotments
If you are interested in hiring an allotment in Northampton, please identify your preferred site and contact the allotment officer using the details below. Allotments in the Daventry and South Northamptonshire areas are dealt with by the local town and parish councils.
The average plot is 252 square metres, currently costing under £40 per year. You may also need a gate key, which you can hire from about £4 to £6 (costs vary from site to site; there is a 50% discount available to over 60s). We own 17 allotment sites, including three sites which are managed by the allotment associations on the sites themselves. The full list of council-owned allotments is below, along with locations.
