Share your views on community equipment services in West Northamptonshire
22 June 2026

Residents across West Northamptonshire are being invited to share their experiences of the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES), which supports people of all ages to live safely and independently at home.
ICES provides essential items such as mobility aids, bathroom equipment and pressure care equipment, which are loaned to residents for as long as they are needed.
A short survey is now open for anyone who has used the service, or supported someone who has, to have their say. Feedback will help partners understand what is working well and where improvements can be made.
The survey is available online through the council’s consultations page and will close at midnight on 21 July 2026. Residents can complete the survey themselves or with support from a friend, relative or advocate, as long as responses reflect the views of the person who has used the service.
Cllr Laura Couse, Cabinet Member for Adult Care and Public Health at West Northamptonshire Council, said: “Community equipment provides vital support that helps people stay safe, independent and well at home. By gathering feedback from residents and carers, we can make sure these services continue to improve and meet the needs of our communities now and in the future.”
The consultation is being led by West Northamptonshire Council in partnership with NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board and North Northamptonshire Council. Insights gathered will help shape future commissioning arrangements for community equipment services across the area.
