We want to hear from you: share your experience of care and support in West Northamptonshire
02 June 2026

People who draw upon adult care and support, as well as carers and families, are being invited to share their experiences and views to help shape the future of support across West Northamptonshire.
West Northamptonshire Council is developing a new Adult Social Care Strategy and wants to hear from as many people as possible. A new survey and a series of “Big Conversation” events will take place across the area, giving people the opportunity to share their ideas, experiences and priorities for the future.
The feedback gathered will help inform how services are designed, delivered and improved, ensuring that those who draw on care and support, along with family and friend carers, are at the heart of decision-making.
People’s experiences of care and support must shape how we deliver services in the future. We want to hear what is working well, what needs to improve, and what matters most to you.Cllr Laura Couse, Cabinet Member for Adult Care and Public Health at West Northamptonshire Council
With lived experience as a Carer myself, both professionally and unpaid, I've experienced challenges first hand, and the difference these services make to our communities. This is your opportunity to help us shape our future Adult Social Care services. Your feedback will directly inform our plans and I would strongly encourage anyone with experience of Adult Social Care to take part and have their say.

The Council is committed to making the process as inclusive as possible. Support is available for those who may need help to take part, including providing materials in alternative formats, help with travel or speaking directly with groups in their own settings. If you need support or have any questions, please contact [email protected].
Following the engagement period, all feedback will be brought together into a report setting out what residents have said and how this will inform next steps. The findings will directly shape the new Adult Social Care Strategy for West Northamptonshire.
