Daventry Local Plan (Part 2)
The Settlements and Countryside (Part 2) Local Plan 2011-2029 was adopted on 20 February 2020. Building on the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy (WNJCS) which was adopted in December 2014, it was prepared to help further guide planning decisions in the Daventry area and forms part of the Development Plan for the District, along with the WNJS, the Minerals and Waste Local Plan and "made" neighbourhood plans.
The Part 2 Local Plan replaces all of the remaining saved policies of the 1997 Daventry District Local Plan and supersedes policy H6 of the WNJCS.

We have produced some resources to help applicants:
Applicant's Toolkit - assists applicants to assess their proposal against some of the policies in the plan (HO8 housing mix, space and accessibility standards and CW2 open space standards). Applicants are encouraged to complete the toolkit and submit it as part of their application.
