If you're looking to start a career in Logistics, this course gives you the practical skills and confidence to take your first step. You will learn about the key employability skills needed in the logistics industry, including communication and teamwork.
Daily support sessions in English Language will also be provided to teach you the key vocabulary needed to develop key employability and Logistics skills.
This course suits ambitious individuals who want a hands-on route into work, enjoy practical learning, and are ready to build a future in one of Northamptonshire's biggest growth sectors. You will also develop transferable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and reliability.
Duration
4 weeks from Monday to Thursday, with start and end times varying.

Learners will gain a nationally-recognised Level 2 employability qualification, while developing the communication skills needed for the workplace and successful job interviews.

This course equips learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to secure employment in the growing logistics sector.
Participants will complete accredited training, including a Certificate in Warehousing and Storage Principles and Level 2 Awards in Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Truck Operations, gaining both practical experience and industry-recognised licences.
The programme also covers safe manual handling and working at height.

This course supports employers to upskill existing staff into HGV driving roles through a flexible, employer-led training programme.
Designed for co-funded learners, the bootcamp provides Category C and C+E licence training aligned to real workforce demand across logistics, distribution, construction, and supply chain operations throughout Northamptonshire.
Duration
The course is a minimum 16-week training programme, starting with a medical test and progressing through to practical training and testing.
