Skills Bootcamps

What are Skills Bootcamps?

A Skills Bootcamp is a flexible, short-term training programme designed to help people gain in-demand skills quickly.

They are ideal for residents looking for work as well as those already employed who want to upskill or progress in their careers.

With practical, employer-led learning, bootcamps build confidence, improve job prospects, and open pathways into new roles or career advancement.

Who are they for?

A Skills Bootcamp is for you if you are:

  • aged 19 plus
  • looking for work
  • an employee looking to gain new skills (employer contributions required: 10% for SMEs, 30% for large organisations)
  • self-employed
