Trading Standards advice and help for consumers

Citizens Advice consumer service carry out work on behalf of Trading Standards and refer issues to us to help build a picture of problems and scams that may be developing in West Northamptonshire.

They provide guidance on all consumer issues such as:

• advice before you buy
• businesses acting unfairly or illegally
• cancellation of contracts for goods or service
• faulty goods
• guarantees
• scams
• unsatisfactory service
