Waste and recycling collections
Waste and recycling collection crews will start their rounds earlier. Please put your bins out the night before your collection is due to avoid being missed.
Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)
Please be aware that due to the current extreme heat, site staff working at the HWRCs will need to take more frequent breaks for shade and hydration. Therefore, your visit may be slightly delayed.
If the temperatures of ramps, railings and containers become too hot to touch, and for the safety of members of public, we may be forced into a site closure.
