Description

The School Attendance Support Service (SASS) previously known as the  Education and Inclusion Partnership Team (EIPT) acts to champion the right of all children to receive a high-quality education. The service will work to overcome any barriers to learning through skilled problem-solving with a range of partners.

The EIPT provide the following attendance and behaviour support to schools:

Schools have a responsibility to notify the local authority when a child has started at or left their school outside the standard transition points (beginning of the school year). The EIPT provide the following guidance in relation to children starting or leaving a school:

The West EIPT are currently taking email queries only through duty, which will be available on a Monday and Wednesday 1pm to 4:30pm and Friday 1pm to 4pm. It may take longer to receive a response due to the decreased hours.

Parents should use this online form to get in touch with the West EIPT to report information, request support or advice, or make a general enquiry.

School staff should refer to the links above wherever possible to see if their query can be answered. If not, they should email [email protected]. For managed moves and reduced timetables, school staff should email [email protected].
