Household support and advice
Some local groups have been given money to help people with everyday needs at home.
They can help with:
- white goods (like fridges, cookers and washing machines)
- heating and energy-saving items
- advice on saving money and managing your home
- classes to learn useful skills like cooking or fixing things
Here are some of the groups that can help:

| C2C Social Action | Northampton Women’s Centre offers hot meals, cooking workshops, bedding, cooking appliances, nappies and pet food |
| Care and Repair | Energy Saving Assessments and product installation |
| Cohesive Society CIC | Support through the Household Resilience Hub |
| Doddridge Centre Limited | Cooking on a Budget Courses |
(Northamptonshire Partnership Homes) | Help for tenants with saving energy, food costs and getting furniture or appliances |
| Impact Now | Classes to learn everyday skills for saving money and managing your home. |
| Moulton Community CIO | Food help, baby packs, cooking and sewing classes |
| Northampton Hope Centre | Food, warm clothes, and help for people who are homeless or struggling |
| The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation | Provide emergency support as well as long term and sustainable solutions for households in need Services provided: food support, appliances, energy support, insulation and energy efficiency items, household furnishing and bedding and information and advice |
