Support available for the Armed Forces community and their families in West Northants

The Armed Forces Covenant Northamptonshire provides information and advice on support available within the county for the Armed Forces community and their families. From help in a crisis, to mental health support, benefits and schools admissions to much more.

A coat rack of kindness

Coat racks have been put up in West Northamptonshire Council buildings to support anyone who may be struggling and would benefit from a coat donation.

If you are in need of a coat, please visit One Angel Square, Northampton where you can help yourself to a coat from the coat rack available in the Reception area.

Cost of living scams

Please be cautious of possible scams including fake text messages and emails relating to cost of living and energy.

The government is offering help for households but beware of criminals pretending to offer these support schemes.

These scam emails and text messages come in many different forms and promise financial gain. They are often official looking and pretend to be from the government or HMRC. For more information please visit cost of living scams.

Help us reach more people

Help us make more people aware of the cost of living support information.

We are kindly asking local community groups, representatives and organisations to help us raise awareness and direct residents towards the help available in our Cost of Living Support Hub.

To do this, please film and share a short video with your networks, distribution lists and on social media.

Please see our Cost of Living video support page for more information.

Family Hubs

Family Hubs logo with three hands placed on each other

Family Hubs offer a safe, welcoming space for all families with children aged 0 to 19 years (or 25 years for a young person with a special educational need or disability).

Family Hubs bring services together, making it easier for families to get the help they need - giving babies the best start for life and continuing that support through adolescence.
