Support for people who need extra help
Some people may need more help because of their situation.
This may include:
- pensioners
- people with disabilities or long-term health problems
- care leavers
- people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless
Some local groups have been given money to help these people.
They can offer:
- food
- warm clothes
- help with energy bills
- advice and support
Here are some of the groups helping towards this:

| Age UK Northamptonshire | Energy saving measures in the home, providing home energy assessments and provision of energy saving and efficiency devices for older people |
| Aquarius | To alleviate the financial strain on vulnerable households impacted by substance abuse, by addressing their immediate needs for essentials such as energy and water bills, food, winter warm packs and other necessary household items |
| C2C Social Action | Northampton Women’s Centre offers hot meals, cooking workshops, bedding, cooking appliances, nappies and pet food |
| Northampton Hope Centre | Food, warm clothes and help for people who are homeless or struggling |
| Right Resolution CIC | Care Leavers Support Project |
| The Lewis Foundation | Cancer poverty care and support packs providing much needed essentials and specialised toiletries for cancer patients |
