For residents with driveways, it is simple to charge your electric car at home. Just plug it in overnight and it is ready to go in the morning, this way is often cheaper than using public chargers.

Residents with off-street parking

Follow these steps to install a home charger:

  1. Check if you are eligible
  2. Choose your charger
  3. Assess your electrical capacity - use a qualified installer
  4. Hire an OZEV-approved installer - this ensures safety and grant eligibility
  5. Book your installation day and start charging
