As a result of the recent Government Spending Review, Locality, the organisation commissioned by The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to deliver the support programme, cannot proceed with commissioning new Neighbourhood Planning support services for 2025 onwards.
This means that applications for new grants or technical support cannot be opened and the main source of funding for Neighbourhood Planning groups will no longer be available.
Locality are able to complete all technical support packages already agreed by MHCLG (by the end of March 2025, to be completed by the end of March 2026).
Please contact Locality for further information if you currently have a technical support package in place with them.
