Nature Map IT
To help monitor the success of nature recovery across West Northamptonshire, we have developed a Nature Map.
The map is a simple and interactive way for you to share what’s happening for nature. Whether you know of places rich in wildlife, activities already supporting nature, future plans, or opportunities and challenges for nature recovery, your local knowledge is invaluable.
By adding information to the map, you will help West Northamptonshire Council and partners build a clearer picture. We welcome contributions from individuals, communities, and organisations, and invite you to take part and help nature thrive.
Add information to the Nature Map IT of places you think should be included within the LNRS local habitat map.
Please note: entries submitted through Nature Map IT do not form part of the statutory planning process and cannot influence, determine, or be used as evidence in planning decisions.
Get involved
You can also talk to others about nature recovery and help build a shared sense of responsibility and pride in local wildlife. By getting involved, you can help create a healthier, more resilient natural environment for current and future generations.
