Accessing the strategy

The strategy will be available on our website and through our libraries. It will be a combination of an interactive map and document.

The LNRS Local Habitat Map will show 3 layers:

  • existing biodiversity sites (APIB)
  • mapped actions (measures)
  • nature network (ACB)

These interactive layers give the user the options to select and deselect what’s visible so the layers can be shown together or separately. The map also include a base map and a layer showing the 3 character areas as described in the strategy.

We intend to produce support information for communities to deliver nature recovery. This will come after the publishing of the LNRS.

Get involved

The public consultation later in the year aims to reach an array of communities such as farmers, community groups, parish councils, and businesses. Please contact us if you would like a presentation during this period, or would like further information about the LNRS beforehand.
