Ongoing actions

You can find out more about our ongoing actions below:

We continue to participate and support the ‘No Mow May’ campaign across specific parks, open spaces and road verges where it is safe to do so. This encourages biodiversity and reduces emissions from grass cutting equipment

By improving the fabric of the building, we are improving its overall energy efficiency and reducing energy demand in the home. This will reduce energy bill costs for residents and contribute towards a reduction in fuel poverty.

The council aims to support the implementation of EV charging facilities on its streets and car parks, and the car parks of any willing partners. We hope to encourage the use of eco-friendly fuels in West Northants.

The Council has been appointed as the responsible authority for developing a local nature recovery strategy for West Northamptonshire, working in collaboration with local groups, landowners, and businesses
