New driver knowledge test: Legislation, policy and local questions
Once you have submitted a complete application, your DBS has been returned and where applicable a sub-committee hearing held, you will be booked on to the next available induction day and knowledge test.
Induction presentation and exam
The presentation is completed remotely at home prior to your exam. Once your application is deemed completed we will invite you to the next available date.
We will try to give you one month to revise and watch the presentation before your exam date.
The exams will take place at The Forum, Moat Lane, Towcester, NN12 6AD, usually in the Council Chamber.

Legislation and Policy
You are expected to be familiar with the West Northamptonshire Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy and legislation, however the induction day presentation will cover specific areas you will need to know for the completing the knowledge test:
