Tax checks

If you are a new applicant, who has never held a driver licence before (or had a licence of the same type but it ceased to be valid a year or more before making this application), you must confirm you are aware of your tax responsibilities as hackney carriage or private hire vehicle driver.       

If you hold a licence with any other authority, or are renewing a licence, you must complete a tax check with every submission.

Your application will not be considered if you don't provide a valid tax check code when needing to do so.
