Page titles
Page titles should be:
- as descriptive and distinct as possible
- front-loaded where possible so the key information is at the start
This helps:
- people using the site, particularly when searching for content
- search engines to crawl the site effectively
- AI large language models (such as ChatGPT) to source the right information
- content editors to add descriptive link text when linking to the page from elsewhere
Examples: page titles
Good examples of page titles include:
- Urgent mental health support
- Family Hubs
- Contact Everdon Outdoor Learning Centre
Bad examples of page titles include:
- I need urgent mental health support
- Information about Family Hubs
- Contact the team
