Emergency food support
Emergency food support is not a long-term solution. It can help when you are facing immediate difficulties.
Food Aid Alliance West Northants (FAAWN) is a network of local food banks, community larders and social supermarkets. They provide low-cost and emergency food. Volunteers can also offer advice, signposting and additional support.
To find locations and opening times for emergency food support in West Northamptonshire, visit the FAAWN website.
Referrals for emergency food support
You may need a referral to access emergency food support.
Referrals can be made by professionals such as:
- schools
- health visitors
- GP surgeries
- mental health services
You can find examples of local referral partners on the Restore Northampton website.
If you do not have contact with these services, Citizens Advice West Northamptonshire can provide referrals.
