Transport costs are the money you spend on getting around: buses, trains, taxis, fuel for your car, or even taxis and specialist services.

These can add up, especially if you travel regularly or have additional needs, such as a disability or caring responsibilities.

A list of bus companies and bus routes included in this scheme can be found on the £3 national bus fare cap page on the GOV.UK website.

Bus passes

Bus passes are also available for disabled people and older people, providing free travel on local buses anywhere in England.
