Get help to buy food and milk

The NHS Healthy Start scheme supports pregnant women and families with children under 4 who are on a low income. If you are eligible, you can get help to buy healthy food, milk and vitamins.

Clothing, food and essential items

Baby Basics provides support for new parents. This includes safe sleeping spaces, clothing, blankets, toiletries and sterilising equipment.

Restore Northampton and Growbaby provide baby clothes, food and essential items. They can also help you access further support.

Some community larders and social supermarkets stock baby essentials and can refer families to services such as Baby Basics and Growbaby. You can find your nearest service on the Food Aid Alliance West Northants (FAAWN) website.
