Employment and Disability Service (EADS)
The Employment and Disability Service (EADS) is a specialist supported employment team.
We exist to provide bespoke support to individuals facing barriers to employment to work towards and achieve their employment goals.
Raising aspirations, empowering individuals and providing local support to local people, EADS has over 38 years’ experience building futures and changing lives.
EADS offers businesses across Northamptonshire the chance to access free professional support for their teams.
In these challenging times you may find work difficult especially if you already deal with barriers such as poor mental or physical health, disability or any other health issues. EADS can support you and your team to overcome these barriers before they cause issues around absence or poor productivity.
We would like to help you, and your company, achieve accessible and inclusive recruitment and perhaps even work towards a disability confident status. Job seekers that EADS support benefit from placements which build confidence whilst our specialist team support that workforce and the participant with job and disability coaching.
Your company can talk to us also about Supported Internships (SIs) and how we can support you to access talent and communicate better with local schools and colleges.
We have a local Supported Internship Forum full of local education providers and partners who are passionate about local businesses succeeding.
Internships are an amazing way to find local talent who want to work for your business whilst promoting individuals to develop themselves further in the role whilst remaining with the company who supported them. As a result decreasing your overall staff turnover.
EADS understand every business has different requirements and we would like to work with you to find out what yours are.
