If you don’t have family or friends that can help you to and from hospital appointments, these community services will be happy to help you.

Community transport

Patient transport service

Provided by East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS), this is a non-emergency service suitable for patients referred to a local hospital or community health centre for a:

  • consultation
  • treatment
  • procedure
